WHY THE 2ND ANNUAL MSQ ANNIVERSARY BLOCK PARTY?
The MSQ Block Party is our thank you to the community, friends, filmmakers, artists, actors, artisans, musicians, motivators, entertainers and entrepreneurs who helped Mark Squared grow and prosper this year. It is our mission to be temporary vessels to help others along their creative paths, however raising a Creative Community takes a village and without the support of others we would not be able to do what we do! We want to show you thanks!
WHAT IS THE MSQ ANNIVERSARY BLOCK PARTY?
The MSQ Block Party is a community fun day celebrating Creativity UNboxed. The Mark Squared Block Party showcases filmmakers, artists, actors, artisans, musicians, motivators, entrepreneurs and entertainers throughout Metropolitan Atlanta. For 1 evening we will transfer our corner of Clarkston Industrial Blvd in Clarkston GA into a series of stages, lounges, work rooms and cafes for your creative enjoyment. Mark Squared is as diverse as our home city and all about independent film, art, music and culture. The block party will feature independent booths many with an international twist, musicians from all corners of the world, health screenings, choirs, DJs, a cultural fashion show, food trucks, and local non-profits. The day will benefit MADIOC , Children and Family Literacy and Mark SQuared’s production of The Carousel: A Poetry Based Musical.
WHEN IS THIS BIG PARTY?
WHERE IS THIS PARTY?
3550 Clarkston Industrial Blvd, Clarkston, GA.
We are a bit off the beaten path. We are located in a nondescript industrial park in Clarkston, GA a quick 5-minute ride from Downtown Decatur. Sounds ominous but we promise we are a hidden gem. Once you enter you’ll find yourself transported to a warm and cozy world- sort of like hanging out at a friend’s house that just happens to have an awesome live bands handing out in their living room and great art hanging on the walls.
HOW MUCH WILL ALL THIS FUN COST ME?
Free to enter. Food and activities are all reasonably priced. Retail vendors price their products at their own discretion.
Best Deal: The $25 5Squared Family Deal: 4 bottle waters plus a Family size fish and chips dinner with drinks plus 4 admissions to the Film Lounge including popcorn and drinks for everyone. Hydrated, feed and entertained plus a family of 4 saves $15 dollars.
CAN I PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD?
Yes and Maybe.
Yes, The Mark Squared ticket booth will accept credit and debit cards.
Maybe. Some of our food and retail vendors may have credit and debit card machines but to be safe we suggest you bring good ole’ fashion cash with you also!
